The inception of my esports background
I have been working in esports as well as navigating the industry and how I can best fit the needs of esports athletes since 2019. I have been a life long gamer, who understood that with my background in traditional fitness coaching as well as coaching high level athletes, that esports was an area that also needed attention. I have spent the last few years in developing these skills to be able to help athletes in the various aspects of performance.
My fundamental approach
My approach to working with esports athletes is simple, I look at a holstic view of health that includes physical, mental, and emotional well being. These athletes spend many hours in their craft to excel to the highest levels which include, scrims (practices), tournaments or in-season events, and the need to be focused and in the moment for extended periods of time.
